CMP raises over $45,000

We would like to thank the contributors who helped the CMP to raise over $45,000 for the Republican primaries.

Thanks to the contributions of concerned individuals like you we were able to play a direct and decisive role in two winning campaigns and a large role in a third. THAT'S a pretty darned good record right out of the box.

We were told by some that there was already enough cooks in the kitchen and that we should accept what is already out there. However we felt that conservatives needed another home that they could trust would direct their energies and funds to the campaigns of conservative candidates. We have at times worked with some of the conventional organizations at times and yet when it comes to non-conservative candidates we have shown the resolve to stay away.

As we turn our efforts towards the fall we would like to announce our next goal of raising $200,000 in order to help conservatives take back the Oregon House of Representatives. And your help is needed. The math is simple. If 2,000 people simply make a contribution of $100 we get there. If you make a contribution, of any size, and refer a friend who also makes a contribution we get there.

We continue to believe that if grassroots conservatives would focus their energies and finances in a new and better way, that we could indeed win back the House with principled candidates. Candidates who are not afraid to articulate a message of limited government. Candidates who are not befuddled by the fickle "business lobby." Candidates who are beholden and even thankful for the help and support of the conservative grassroots.

The liberal Democrats are licking their chops. They have many in the big money lobby running scared and they even have a few Republican candidates running scared.

In order to counter act that fear we need your help. We have made it very easy to express your support for candidates who are not afraid of being bold. Too often the special interest become the loudest voice in the ear of Republican politicians. Fortunately conservatives now have a voice.

However, we need to make it louder. We hope that you will continue to show your trust in our efforts and that we can count on your support so that we can begin the planning for the next round of campaigns. This time the general election.

We hope that you take a moment out of your day to donate online to the CMP. The left is crowing about how they can do it. The question now is, "can the conservatives do it?"

We think we can. We are counting on it. Several conservative candidates are counting on it.
